The Trojan Shop first opened its door in June of 2005.
Our temporary location was on the second floor of the
football stadium, under the bleachers. In October of 2005 we
moved to our new home, the newly renovated Sooner Building,
which used to be Central Elementary.
Our goal is to use the Trojan Shop as a hands-on learning
experience for the Marketing Education students. During the
course of the school year students from different classes
“work” in the store to get actual retail experience. There
is role playing as customers and sales associates,
displaying merchandise, inventory control, and developing
new ideas for designs to be used on merchandise in the
future. Kathy Hawkins is our full time manager and oversees
everything related to the store. She has a part-time student
who works in the store after school.
We carry a wide variety of t-shirts, sweatpants,
sweatshirts, hoodies, golf shirts, and a large array of gift
